Function Resource/HR & Security

”Engaging the right competence at the right time is the key to success.”

For the function Resource/HR & Security, the focus is on coordinating the programme's resources, and above all, driving the work to ensure that the right competences are available at the right time. The function is also responsible for issues related to the work environment at the office, and for keeping the security work together.

A large part of the work revolves around working both strategically and operationally with recruitment, in the forms of employment or procurement of resources. This involves close collaboration with the programme organisation on skills needs.
─ The challenge is to find the right people, with sometimes very niched knowledge and experience. This requires extensive preparatory work together with the projects/functions, followed by selection and interviews, and then contract writing and follow-ups, says Christina Wramborg.

Offering support through change

The Resource/HR & Security function is also responsible for, together with VA SYD's security coordinator, keeping the safety work in the programme together, in accordance with current legislation. The function also drives initiatives around employee engagement, culture development and evaluations like employee surveys.

It is incredibly fun to work with people and to see them grow. It is also exciting to work in such a large programme, with constant changes and new challenges that employees may need support in managing.
