Function Communication

”The goal is to build relationships that provide the very best conditions for progress.”

Function Communication has the primary responsibility for the programme's overall communication, both internally and externally, and to support all projects and functions in their communication missions. The work includes everything from developing strategies and messages and implementing them in the organisation, to creating materials and driving communication efforts.

In the process of building such a comprehensive system as MAXIMA, there are a large number of stakeholders with different needs and expectations – including everything from politicians and other decisionmakers, authorities and municipal administrations, contractors and suppliers, organisations and companies, property owners and residents, to the media and opinion leaders of various kinds.

To establish trust in our operations, it is important that all stakeholders receive targeted information at the right time and in the right way, with the opportunity for dialogue when needed. The goal is to build relationships that provide the very best conditions for the programme's progress, says Martina Hellberg.

A central part of the chain

The work involves being a central part of the chain from identifying a need for communication, to developing solutions in close collaboration with colleagues with different expertise, and then driving activities of various kinds.

There is a great intrest in MAXIMA from different angles, and it is important to try to stay one step ahead but also be prepared to quickly handle everyday communication needs. No two days are the same, which is both fun and stimulating. It also feels incredibly good to be involved in contributing to the region's development going forward.
