Function Information
”Access to the right information is a prerequisite for being able to work efficiently and with high quality.”
The larger a project, the more operationally critical it is to have a clear and well-established structure for handling information so that all parties have the right basis in all processes. Function Information is responsible for the programme's information management, which means setting requirements and giving instructions for information management as well as providing, managing and implementing the necessary system support.
─ On a day-to-day basis, it is a lot about leading a constant change aimed at harmonising the working methods of all employees regarding handling information. It is important to bring out one's pedagogical skills and always be prepared to provide support and guidance, says Tommy Lindeberg.

Involve all parties and create positive engagement
Building MAXIMA is an unusual project in several ways, for example because it includes facilities, buildings and industry. All parts are extensive and require technical excellence, involving people who do not usually work together.
─ This is extremely exciting, and also part of the challenge for us who are responsible for information management. We need to involve all parties, from clients and designers to support functions and contractors, in seeing the benefits of following the programme's working methods. However, people who are drawn to this type of project are usually open and like to be involved where it happens, which provides a good working climate for positive engagement.
