Unit Reception

“With increased collaboration throughout VA SYD, we can all go in the same direction.”

For the construction of MAXIMA to work optimally the whole way through, it is essential to create trust in the process at all stages. The unit Reception acts as a bridge between the programme and the rest of VA SYD's organisation, focusing on collaboration and planning, as well as preparing for the takeover and commissioning of MAXIMA.

Much is about coordinating and handling questions from the programme to the line organisation, helping to identify requirement specifications as well as structuring and planning all the work that affects production and operations. An important task is to find ways to relieve the line organisation, to free up capacity to contribute to the development of MAXIMA.
─ Everything we do aims to increase participation and collaboration between all parties involved. A key is to ensure relevant communication flows, so that the right people are involved at the right time, and that all information is feedbacked and taken forward in the right way, says Ulf Nyberg.

Working towards common goals
The work involves close collaboration with colleagues both within the programme and the rest of VA SYD, based on development and change management, and with the goal of making everyone's everyday work easier.

─ It is very exciting to create something completely new in close interaction with an ongoing daily operation. The challenge lies in getting everyone to understand each other's needs and driving forces, and creating a community that makes everyone go in the same direction. To feel that this is flowing better and better along the way is incredibly motivating.
